PSU Washougal Waterfront Convergence Project Kick-off
The Community is Invited to the Port for April 12 Event
Washougal, Wash. - April 4, 2014 - The Port of Camas-Washougal today announced that the Kick-Off Event for the Washougal Convergence Community Planning Project led by Portland State University students will be on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 3:30 p.m. at the Port’s Main Office location, 24 South A Street, Washougal WA. See full article here!

The PSU student team will host the event outside the Port Offices, weather permitting, with the option of moving indoors if needed. The event will be family friendly with activities for everyone, including a waterfront tour at 1:30, food, and more.

Representatives from the City of Washougal and the Port will also be on hand for this event. Click here to view event details and to register:

The project Work Plan states: “The Kick-Off event will focus on being family-friendly while still oriented to the community as a whole. The goal will be to bring together the various groups that have been reached through the initial outreach phase as well as those that may not have been involved in those processes. Providing information will continue to be the focus, but this will mark the shift from the information phase of the engagement plan into a heavier focus on collecting input and feedback from the public.”
