Interpretive panel unveiling at Parkersville National Historic Site. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. Adjacent to Marina Park (across from the Port Office, 24 South A Street Washougal, Wash. 98671). Members of the Parkersville National Historic Site Advisory Committee (PNHSAC), whose efforts over the past three years brought this project together, will unveil the three interpretive panels. The colorful panels describe local plant use, Chinook Indian artifacts, and the local Chinookan Royal Family. The ceremony will begin with a traditional Chinookan blessing given by Sam Robinson, vice chairman of the Chinook Nation.
