To take advantage of the number of visitors as well as create an opportunity to educate visitors, the port has created a lobby area that is friendly and informative. Lined with nautical flags and colorful banners, the lobby area has information kiosks, an electronic monitor for revolving presentations and as of April 2 a rotating art exhibit. Showcasing the works of local artists, the north wall contains samples of local artwork and will change out every three months. Stop by to admire the work. Stunning everyone, he explained that Stanford University hospital let him out six weeks early—a sign that his recovery is well underway. As many of you recall, Larry was the recipient of a double-lung transplant just a few months ago. He’s recovering now at home and says, “I feel like I’m 20 years younger!” He looks like it too!
