The Port of Camas/Washougal, a political subdivision of the State of Washington, was established in 1935 to create a favorable climate for economic development in the Camas/Washougal area. The policy board for the Port is made up of three commissioners who are elected by the voting population residing within the Port district. This Commission is the Port district's governing body responsible for all aspects of Port operations and policy setting. The Commission may exercise only the powers that are delegated to them by law or pursuant to law.

Regular Commission Meetings

The Commission's regular public meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Port of Camas/Washougal Meeting Room, 24 South A Street, Washougal, WA. Commission meetings are open to the public at 5:00 p.m. If needed, an Executive Session will be held at 4:00 p.m. as set forth in the Open Meetings Act (RCW 42.30).

Special Meetings

The Port Commission may call special meetings. 24-hour notice is necessary to conduct a special meeting.

Public Input & Appearances Before the Commission

The Public is invited and encouraged to attend Port meetings. Anyone wishing to be on the agenda should call at least one week before the meeting date to establish a time. There is opportunity at each meeting for PUBLIC COMMENT.
